Sorry but stayed in South Africa: /
I currently use my laptop can not, I have not reported long-please excuse.
First I must tell you first that I am not currently on the 3-week trip, because the leader is sick. He will now be postponed until January, but since then have some volunteers have left, and therefore hardly any during the trip here would be to work, we strongly doubt that it still happens.
So I now report from the last 3 weeks.
On Monday, 18.10. We were invited to an Indian wedding. We have here that is an Indian cook, who married his son. Since we had to work up to 18 clock, we have unfortunately true of the ceremony and the traditions were there and experienced nothing more or less for the very tasty food. All of which have been celebrated for several days, then why was not dancing anymore. It was still quite interesting to see in January and married the daughter of her, perhaps to then we witness more.
On Tuesday I was in preschool, because the teacher of Grade Zero has written exam. That's why I've been busy with the 4-year-old Caro only zulusprechende children. It is really a big problem that we do not understand Zulu, because we have to learn something now instead of just painted them and have a little read (which they have not understood, of course). Since the children at school are all so small, but anyway, more as a school break hour, so we can at least do something useful as a break-time supervision and playmates.
On Friday I was at the mall, shopping for last minute things for the trip and later came to Visitor from England, so even the birthday party for the children who have birthday in October, has taken place. It again came to the Young Zulu Warriors. They will make from February to April on a tour of England, Holland and Germany and possibly occur also in Hamburg. If you are interested in how the Zulu dance and sing here, I can really recommend you to go to a gig.
On Saturday, we were called to Heather (the director / founder of GGA), we thought that only the last things to be discussed because of the trip, as then came the cancellation. Total disappointed we then have the evening at the houses the children spent.
On Sunday I had with Rebecca bought for pancake batter, because with the Jabulani-girls (who are all about 12 years old) wanted to cook pancakes. For the weekend that is usually boring, because we obviously can not employ all the time. Moreover, it is really a highlight for them to eat anything but rice, beans or Putu. And if they still prepare their own, they may even learn something:) The youngest of my girls (Mucki) also become old on the day 2 years.
Now it's my job to talk them out of the diapers because they are now in kindergarten geht.Erste progress can be seen even:)
In the whole next week, nothing exciting happens, I've always worked from 13:30 bis 21 clock (ie, homework, fed the kids and house Evenings) . It is always nice, listen twice a week through the Internet to some of my family and friends.
On 30 October was again an off-weekend for me and this time I took a couple of other volunteers first to Pietermaritzburg. There we ran from downtown to the outskirts in one of the largest botanical garden in the world. Those who know me well ask, is determined where the attachment to plant comes at a time, but it was really quite beautiful.
There we met a woman (Olivia), who only two of us once in a bar, but she would not miss again meet with us because they are probably as interested in Germany / German is. It is truly one of the wildest women I've ever met. First, we have squeezed into their super little car with 10 people. When asked what she does, if the police see us (we have noticed are pretty), she replied that she already knows all the cops and will not be a problem. We went out to eat together Indian and then they invited us to another ice cream at Milky Lane (which is such a super ice cream, I'll miss it). To 16 clock we went by minibus from Pietermaritzburg to Durban because we wanted to go to a club. Olivia us then sent two of their friends to us directly from the backpacker hostel, would stay where we picked up and made a brief city tour of Durban at night. We could then boarded on a small hill from where the Nelson Mandela Stadium (which she knows only from the TV * haha *) bright lights seen between other beautiful buildings. At about midnight, then in a disco, the super directly on the beautiful sandy beach of Durban was. At 5 clock at night it was back then in the hostel, which we had to leave by 10 clock again and drove back to GGA.
On Monday we had a meeting with Cindy, is an ex-volunteer who has been working since (I think) 3 years for GGA. She has mentioned to us specific figures about the cost of school uniforms and school supplies and they gave us also suggested that if possible all the older children (ie, 15 years approximately) GGA should leave to go to boarding school. This has the advantage, first, that they would finally get to a good school, as the current school has a teacher here for some three classes with 30 students and therefore not a good preparation provides for the university or vocational school. Moreover, GGA is really not good financially right now, there have been skipped in the spring probably 50 sponsors at once.
There are also rumors that the electricity and water bills could not be paid in January and that there is no water and electricity is more and hence fewer children would be affected. This week, however, built a fountain, sponsored from the Netherlands, which gives hope to us that it will at least be no shortage of water.
Also GGA is not really a device for young adults (we also have two 20-year-old girls), because they can not get out of here.

It amounts to approximately 500 € - 3000 € a year (including transport, school bread, Schülbücher etc.).
And I have already collected donations I will now probably for school materials and school uniforms to spend in order to finance at least some children's books and school uniforms. I think it is important that the children can go to school than to get a new game machine, etc., since they deal very well with very simple things.
Clock At 19 I went to Thomas and one of the Crechies (3 years old) to the hospital in Pietermaritzburg, because they had very high fever and she is HIV positive, so yes we must be especially careful.
The full waiting room of the emergency room was full and only a doctor was at work, so we had to wait 6 hours to speak for 5 minutes with the doctor, who then has given us medicines. In patience you will really practiced here in South Africa, I'm curious if my German punctuality is completely gone after the year.
The rest of the week and the weekend I was working normally. On Sunday came a few Indians, who cooked for the children because it is the Indian Christmas days we henceforth they were "gifted" children have.
the evening once again was the birthday party, because Norwegian sponsors had come. Then there was also a talent show, where the children then danced and sang in order to win a small prize.
